In 2018, a couple in their early 60s traveled to Hyderabad
from California. By completing this trip of a lifetime in a modified Toyota
SUV, they set the record for becoming the first couple to do so. Crossing 19
countries in more than 2 months, they arrived at their destination after a
difficult journey. It was indeed one of the most amazing experiences of their
lives to travel through China, Russia, and Tibet along the way, but it surely
came with many difficulties. In particular, the checkpoints and driving at
altitude were very painful. Despite all these problems, they successfully
became the first to travel from California to Hyderabad by road.
Story of Lakhwinder Singh:
Lakhwinder Singh is another person who experienced this
border crossing journey to travel between India and USA. Starting his journey
from America, he traveled a distance of over 20,000 km to reach Jalandhar via a
road trip. It took him almost a month and a half to achieve this important
milestone. His journey began in America where he put his car on a boat to reach
England. He took a train to Belgium and his real road trip started from there.
It took him a long time to reach Pakistan covering Paris, Germany, Switzerland,
Austria, Hungary, Turkey, and finally Iran. An interesting thing he encountered
in Iran was when he had to hitch his car to another car because American cars
are not allowed to drive in Iran.

Russia and Siberia, one can travel to New York from Delhi. The Trans-Siberian
Highway is the longest highway in the world stretching over 20,000 km. To reach
