Need inspiration for where to travel in 2023? Here are some of the most popular travel locations for the coming year!
With over 150 countries back to normal with no travel
restrictions, including requirements for vaccines or Covid testing, it's safe
to say the world has opened up again.
Although several of the destinations on this list still have
entrance criteria relating to Covid, this may change in 2023.
And even with the restrictions in place, tourism is
beginning to recover in these sought-after destinations, many of which have
been closed entirely to all travelers for more than two years.
1. Tokyo
To enter the country, travelers will either need three doses
of a Covid vaccine or take a Covid test before arrival. Although masks are not
legally required in Japan, the majority of the population still wears them
voluntarily in almost all circumstances.
However, travelers who don't care about these restrictions
will once again be able to explore the bustling city of Tokyo and all it has to
offer.

3. Sydney
Sydney, Australia's largest city, is one of the hottest
destinations for 2023 now that the country has reopened.
The best time to visit Sydney in good weather is from
February to May, making early 2023 the perfect time to plan a visit.

4. Seoul
This city is known for its good food, nightlife,
entertainment, and shopping. There are also many cultural sites to discover in
Seoul, including temples and museums, making it an ideal destination for any
type of traveler.
South Korea also experienced extremely harsh lockdowns and
closures for more than two years, but the country finally reopened fully to
tourism in October with no entry restrictions.
Despite the removal of the outdoor mask rule in September,
South Korea maintains an inside mask mandate until at least March 2023. If it
is indeed phased out in March, then Seoul will be a great destination to visit
next year once things finally get back to normal. Normal.

5. Rio de Janeiro
In December, the country also reinstated a mask rule in
specific areas, including airlines and airports.
Despite ongoing restrictions, travelers are eager to explore
the bustling city of Rio De Janeiro, which will once again host one of the best
Carnival celebrations in the world in February 2023.

6. Málaga
Although it gets crowded during the summer months, Málaga is
a great place to visit any time of the year. It's a popular sunny winter
destination in Europe, and although it might be a bit too cold for a dip in the
ocean, you can certainly enjoy the sunshine and pleasant weather here, even in
winter and in spring.
Now that Spain has finally lifted all travel restrictions
from October 2022 (one of the last countries in Europe to do so), it is high on
the list for many travelers.
