In addition to providing information about Icherisheher to

France, Spain, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Egypt, Read Gasimov, the
chief of staff of the administration of the State Historical and Architectural
Reserve "Icherisheher," provided information to bloggers. As part of
their visit, the visitors were introduced to the historical monuments and

Later, foreign bloggers took part in presentations about the
Karabakh region. Rahman Hajiyev, President of the Karabakh Revival Fund,
presented the concept of urbicide, which means urban genocide, and provided
information on monuments destroyed during the Armenian occupation in Shusha,
Fuzuli, Aghdam, and other parts of Karabakh. Rahman Hajiyev also spoke about
the ongoing reconstruction efforts in the liberated areas, including the
renovation of Shahbulagh (Aghdam) castle, the statue of Uzeyir Hajibeyov, the
carpet museum, as well as the development of smart parks and the restoration of
water sources.
Then, the famous photographer Reza Deghati gave his opinion
to foreign bloggers by posting photos of the ruins from his visits to various
parts of Karabakh.
The Azerbaijan Tourism Agency representative, Nuray
Ahmadova, presented information on the tourist potential of the country,
routes, natural attractions, and travel requirements for foreigners. She also
spoke about Azerbaijan's involvement in the Slow Food International Project.
It should be noted that the daytime video content on Baku
was produced and shared by foreign bloggers. The main objective of the project
(Show Me Azerbaijan - Shusha International Bloggers Camp) is to familiarize
foreign bloggers with destroyed and vandalized cultural monuments, ancient villages
and natural beauty, historical sites, and cultural monuments of Karabakh,
especially of Shusha. The project also aims to familiarize them with the
restoration and reconstruction efforts undertaken after the city's liberation
from occupation and ultimately share their experiences with the world as part
of the President's proclamation of the Republic of Azerbaijan this year as
"Year of Susa."
Remember that last year, a similar project was successfully
implemented at the initiative of the ICYF-ERC. Thus, 13 bloggers from 8
different countries - including 3 well-known videographers from the United
States and Algeria - visited the territories liberated from occupation within
the framework of the "Show me Azerbaijan" project and broadcast their
video reports on historical sites destroyed as a result of the Armenian
occupation. These videos have been viewed by over 7 million people. By the end
of this year, one of the main goals of the project is not only to increase the
number of attractions (shares, views) but also to produce brand new videos
about Karabakh.
