WhatsApp announces that it will now charge business customers
WhatsApp said that more than 175 million people send a message to a WhatsApp Business account every day.
The cross-platform messaging app WhatsApp has now announced
that it charges business customers for some of the services it offers.
According to a statement released by WhatsApp, the app has
made the decision to "charge business customers for some of the
services" to continue building their own businesses as the company plans
to provide and expand free end-to-end encrypted text, video and voice calling
over two billion people.
“We have provided the WhatsApp Business app and the WhatsApp
Business API to help businesses of all sizes manage their chats. We've listened
to feedback on what works and we believe WhatsApp can help make messaging the
best. way for consumers and businesses to connect, "read the official

Emphasizing that the global pandemic has made it clear that
businesses need fast and efficient ways to serve social media users and make
sales, WhatsApp said more than 175 million people send a WhatsApp Business
message every day.
The additional experiences on WhatsApp will meet a real need
for many people and businesses, whether they're around the corner or across the
globe, the company said.
