Free Knee And Hip Replacements Provided At The Indus Hospital And Health Network, Jubilee Town, Lahore
Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) recently announced a new breakthrough in their quest for providing free health care for all. While IHNN is the largest private sector health network in Pakistan, present in 54 Districts of Pakistan through its 16 multidisciplinary tertiary and secondary care hospitals, more complicated knee and hip replacements were not always shown in the limelight. Until today.
Over the course of the last two days (22nd & 23rd February 2023), a team of doctors – Dr. Umer Burney, Dr. Ahmed Siddiqui, and Dr. Atif Ahmed – visited the IHHN Campus in Jubilee Town, Lahore, and carried out more than 20 operations. They also contributed 10.7 million PKR towards the donation of implants and power supplies.
At the end, a delegation of five distributed the certificate of appreciation to nearby medical professionals and assistance groups. This delegation consisted of Mian Mohammad Ahsan, Director, IHHN, Board; Dr. Umer Burney, Orthopedic Surgeon, US; Dr. Tasmaan Ibne Rasa, CEO – IHHN North; Dr. Shafeeq Haider, COO- IHHN North; Dr. Ahmed Shoaib, Faculty Head, IHHN.
IHNN continues to commit to its vision for a paperless and cashless hospital. As a result, more than 6 million individuals receive high-quality, free medical care each year from IHHN.
